They reversed the charges made to my credit card.
On September 28, 2018 Advanced Disposal charged that credit card in the amount of $89.83 for services during the months of October, November, and December. On December 10, I called to cancel my services. I had three weeks worth of garbage collection services paid for at the time of cancellation.
On DECEMBER 28, 2018, 18 days after I canceled services, Advanced Disposal charged my credit card for another full billing period in the amount of $90.66. I called to explain to them that I had canceled my services and I was told that I still owed a balance of $10.24.
They have so far refused to reverse the fraudulent charge of $90.66 and I now suspect they're planning on making another fraudulent charge for this $10.24 they somehow think I owe them.
I included a photo of the charge made to my card along with an unsigned email I received from Advanced Disposal acknowledging the fact that they knew my account was closed on 12/10 yet still charged my credit card on 12/28 for anther full billing period.
This company is nothing but a SCAM!! Never give them your credit card information if you're ever forced to hire them!

A "No Consideration" Company
I understand that the garbage collection industry can be a difficult environment in which to attract and retain good employees. However, there is no excuse for poor customer relations on behalf of management.
I had service at two residences in Marion County.
When trash wasn't picked up for almost two weeks, I called Customer Service. Their job seems to be getting you off the phone so they can take the next dissatisfied customer call. I requested to speak to someone in management and I wasn't irate or rude to the rep. I was told someone would be in touch.
The next communication was a letter from Advanced Disposal canceling my service with their company - a self-defeating business protocol reflecting a complete lack of consideration for their customers. The only thing they did right was beat me to the punch; I was already contacting alternative companies.
The final week of my contract they skipped both houses again, leaving us w/ a great deal of garbage. Fortunately, the driver for the new company, Florida Express Environmental, was very considerate, and took all the trash.
Preferred solution: I am not expecting anything from them now. I have replaced them for my service.

I live in Macon Ga and our city put Advance disposal off on us and they are one sorry company. They drop more trash than they pick up.
